What we like
- Slow-start ramp genuinely eliminates the flour-cloud problem on power-up
- Comes with a fuller attachment bundle out of the box than most competitors at this price
- 5.5-quart bowl and 12 speeds match or beat KitchenAid's Artisan on paper
- Three-year warranty is a real safety net most competitors don't match
What we don't
- Nearly identical on paper to Cuisinart's own Precision Master, which muddies the choice between them
- Plastic-heavy internals compared to KitchenAid's metal gear train
- Attachment ecosystem doesn't extend beyond what's in the box
- Motor works audibly harder than its wattage suggests on stiff dough
