What we like

What we don't
- Presets are fixed — no way to nudge a setting to 190°F if a bag's instructions land between two buttons
- Spout dribbles at a slow pour once the kettle's built up a head of steam
- Buttons and display wash out badly in direct sunlight near a kitchen window
